The disclosure

Some pages on ClickSpeedTest.info may contain affiliate links. If you follow one and buy something, this site may receive a commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same either way — the commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket.

What this does not affect

Commission never decides what gets recommended. Specifically:

• No payment for placement. Nobody can buy a recommendation, a ranking position in a comparison, or a mention.
• Recommendations are not limited to products that pay. Where the honest answer is a free tool, a built-in operating-system feature, or open-source software with no commission attached, that is what the page says. Several guides here already do exactly that.
• Downsides get stated. If something has a real limitation, it is written down, whether or not a link earns anything.
• “It depends” is an allowed answer. Pages are not obliged to produce a purchase recommendation where one is not warranted.

Current status

The site is early in its life and most pages carry no affiliate links at all today. This disclosure is published in advance and covers any that are added later, so that the position is clear from the outset rather than appearing after the fact.
